Does anyone here hunt?? I haven't killed anything in 6 years or so.. I used to go with a co-worker but we have since fallen out of contact. I never killed a buck, but I did get a doe with a bow and arrow.. also I have trapped 2 fox and a snapping turtle.. I'm pretty much an amateur, but did enjoy it when I was doing it.. first of all..just sitting alone in a tree stand watching the sunset over the corn and soybean fields is worth it.. I don't even have to see a deer to enjoy myself.. but when one does come and the adrenaline starts to pump.. whoa baby hunting rules! anyway offer your opinions or experiences..pro or con.. ps no fishing stories about the big one that got away..

also driving around town in a pick up truck with 10 rednecks with bow and arrows is really fun..makes me feel like I was in some sort of militia..
I wouldn't say hillbilly..but I do like some moonshine, pickup trucks, some old country music (hank williams, johnny cash), the rebel flag (not for racist reasons, I love the civil war), budweiser and the Dukes of Hazzard. I don't get into NASCAR though.. I've helped out on a farm before and it was one of the funnest experiences I've had..

I'm sure I've asked this before, but why do you feel it's necessary for your regional accent to flow over into the way you type? It reminds me of the book Trainspotting which is written in a Scottish dialect!

You don't see Irish people, for example, writing in their accent, so why do you feel the need to do it? It doesn't sound cool, it isn't interesting, it's just annoying and whenever I read something you write with all the "ju" and "papi" and "mangs" it just makes me think of a Latina prostitute rather than someone with something to say.

Rant over.

It just sounds more like you're trying to flaunt your heritage, which is just plain irritating. Like those black guys who call everyone "nigga" (of course, if white people say it then the PC police will be all over you like a hot flannel)

Nadir is my friend, he is older than me so i call him papi(a term of endearment)
And why can't you just piss off?
Leave me alone
I also love the Wu-Tang Clan!!!
Heh, nice plugging of your moral beliefs there.

I'm not really getting heated at you, as such, I'm just sick of people bastardizing the English language all the time (on the internet and elsewhere).

Would you write an exam like this: "When ju react hydrogen with ..." or "This one mang Hitler" or "This papi called Ghandi"?

Really, to be honest, they are just habits.
And its really sad you are getting all worked up over this. Really, get heated over something important, like abortion. Not how i type

remember that movie with Ice-T? Where those guys gave him a 30 minute head start, ate their breakfast, and then went out and hunted him.. hunting humans, the ultimate game.. or that Misfits song (without Glenn) we're Hunting Humans..its killing time everyday..

Fishing story:

Not really a big deal, I caught a Sting Ray when I lived in Florida, of course released it.....
Let's see,..also an Angel fish, released,.....AND an alligator bit my line and as well, of course we cut the line :D

All that was ocean canal fishing, brackish water is great for that :D

Anyway, my dad and I always released the fish. My grandfather who lives there still, eats certain ones, I personally am picky about Seafood. I try it and mostly I can't eat too much of it. Too fishy most of the time for me. I don't mind shrimp with the red sauce of course! :D

I love most seafood. Except salmon, and anything else that is really fishy.

..Never hunted anything. Just fished.

oh,and I prefer my seafood fried. :) mmm
Dark Dreamer you are wigging me out.. I just had crab ragoons and spring rolls for dinner last night..no shit..
the rangoons were left over from monday night and we usually buy the frozen spring rolls..ha too good..
DARK DREAMER said:
Crab, I have had that a couple times and it was good...I usually don't order it however, for many reasons, that are pointless to go into.

What about crab rangoons?! Sometimes I eat one and I am loving it and then the next time, I might eat half and be disgusted by it. I prefer spring rolls :D
