Hangovers are caused by dehydration. Drink two or three large glasses of water before you start drinking liquor. If you can't do that, drink two or three before you go to sleep. If you can't do that, drink two or three when you get up in the morning.

That's honestly it. Drink more water. If you put enough water in your body before you go to sleep, you won't have a hangover at all. If you get enough into it when you wake up, the hangover disappears pretty quickly.
yes and food too, I know that it might not cause the hang over, but not eating right before you drink really doesn't help

I usually sleep half the day away then wake up and go to the store, grab a couple chocolate milk shakes, down those then go home and make bacon
My ex used to take a few pain killers before he went drinking but he was gay, so my advice is dont drink to begin with ;) When ever i am drunk, i spend my whole time praying to take the pain away haha

Eat Fatty foods if you can hold that shit down you'll be good the rest of the day lol...
like Caliban said just drink water before you go to bed..it works for me everytime.. but i find that if you wait until the morning then the hangover has already gotten pretty bad and water usually upsets my stomach..i go for an ice t or something with sugar and try to eat some pretzels..give my stomach something else to think about for awhile.. then a nice bong hit to calm my insides down..
or you can go Jim Morrison style "Well I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer..let it roll baby roll.. all night long.." hair of the dog..
Most definitely water! Before you even begin drinking, (especially if you plan to get drunk..) you need to make sure you are hydrated before the fact!! Because as mentioned by "Nadir", you might be too nauseous to re-hydrate upon awakening so make sure you drink the water the night before!!

Also, highly sweet drinks supposedly cause worse hangovers and also if you are drinking wine and tend to get bad headaches the next day, it has been shown that some people are more prone to headache with red wine versus white!
Never suffered one. I make meselfe vomit before bed. Always works for I^.^
i get rid of my hangovers by drinking a bottle of gatorade before i go to sleep. works everytime. perhaps it's the electrolytes in it, or it could just have to do with the fact that gatorade just rehydrates the body. whatever the reason, gatorade works quite well against hangovers.
i just usely shovel down beer and live to regart it lol
Water/Orange Juice/Apple Juice with some mutiviitamin tablets and a big greasy fry up =]
