Lol, but then again if you look at it we would probably get bored of old stuff eventually. Noone would have anything new to do etc.
I think I am the ONLY person in the world that likes all these remakes just as much as the originals (and in some cases better than the originals). Remakes of The Omen, Halloween, Texas Chaninsaw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes, Amityville Horror, the list goes on. Plus the upcoming remakes of Friday The 13th, Children Of The Corn and Silent Night Deadly Night look promising. Though if the casting rumors for the remake of Nightmare On Elm Street is true, I don't know if it will be as good. Billy Bob Thorton as Freddy Kruger? "What are you going to do with those finger knives?" "I reckon I'm gonna kill you with them, uh huh." But he is not only known for Slingblade, he was hilarious in Bad Santa one of my favorite movies.

In other words I like alot of the "new" horror movies. Though what disappoints me in these new ones (including the Grudge, The Ring, and most recent flicks) is that they are not all that scary or violent and get a PG13 rating. I want good ol fashioned R rated flicks!! But that's the only reason I can say that I don't like horror of today, otherwise I dig them just as much as the old ones (but than the pre 1970's flicks weren't all that gory anyway more suspense which is good, I'd rather have a scare than a gore, not that there is anything wrong with the gore)
Scary movie 3
Sweatin to the oldies Richard Simons
Barney
Nobody has done a good cult movie in a long time.
Stories of the Necronomicon would be a good flick if some one would actually figure out that oversized cockaroaches that lay eggs in you is what the true horror of the book. Your conventional Alien face is a roach. Pazzuzu is a mocking of the roach. It was briefly flashed in one of the Exorcist movies.Hmm
weird eh!
well its not that there isent anything good it just dosent seem the same OR you get all excited and think its going to be freeking awsomn and it ends up being meh :/
yeah plus most of them are all hollywood computer graphics, no more corn syrup blood and horrible acting thats what horror movies were all about for me..... there's only one guy whose made two really fucking sick movies and thats ROB ZOMBIE!!!!! but i totally agree with ya downhill big time!!
There is good stuff out there if you no where to look, there is still an underground but now it's under the underground, some of you might understand that but most of you wont
Yeah, i agree. The best horror films are psycological horrors. the ones that really mess with your head. They should make more films like that!
i like blood. lots of it.
Actually I did see a movie and it wasent much of a horror but lost boys 2 had this part where one vamp cut open the stomach of another one and he was grabbing for his intestines like razy so they dident touch the ground THAT was pretty entertaining.
if you want something crazy or strange check out The Cremaster Cycle, I doubt you'll ever get a copy of it though being as there are only 20 copies and it cost about $100,000.
Well today's horror movies of Hollywood sucks.I myself prefer Dario Argento or older movies
