Therein lies your problem. "Twilight" is very far removed from the traditional vampires found in CoF lyrics. In fact, the so-called vampires in Twilight are hardly vampires at all, really.

Dani use lines from Shakespeare, so it can be seen as Cradle poetry.

Well... No, but COF lyrics can often be found in my facebook status as a reflection of my mood, as a daily inspiration... :) But if someone tried to seduce me with COF lyrics I would be enchanted :)

Using other peoples words to seduce people is pretty lazy in my opinion. You should be able to write your own words to express your feelings towards someone.

There's a difference between liking mainstream-girly-fake-vampire crap like Twilight and actual poetry/gothic stuff.. she probably thinks that Twilight is dark already, and if that's so, then she is going to think that CoF lyrics are much too dark or "vampiric".. she seems too girly and soft to be courted with CoF lyrics.. She probably likes romance, not the actual fantasy theme like Scott pointed out.
