Now this is something to be truly saddened about. Her acting and her voice work were nothing short of brilliant.
Her narration on 'Cruelty And The Beast' was sensationaly wicked. Without her voice that album would have never been the same.
The 'True' Elizabeth Báthory.

Permalink Reply by Cradle Of Fish on November 24, 2010 at 13:27 Was David McEwen on a COF cd? I know he was in the video for Her Ghost In The Fog, but I thought that was Doug Bradley narrating that part and David just lip syncing. Am I wrong? If not who else was a narrator on a COF album? I only know of Ingrid, Doug and possibly David. He just meant that two out of three guest narrators for Cradle's albums have perished. Not a great joke.

Thanks man, I did not know that. I guess I need to look at the credits more often.David narrated Damnation and a Day.
And that's all of them, unless you include guest vocals by the likes of Cronos.
And whoever did Lilith for this album (Lucy Atkins)?
So four of them, I guess.

Yes really, gotta have a sense of humor man! I mean look at the hilarious jokes about Michael Jackson before and after his death. Remember that one about Patrick Swayze and Michael Jackson before Swayze died? It went "What is god getting Michael Jackson for christmas? Patrick Swayze." It's funny cause Swayze was deathly ill at the time. That joke almost came true, he died before christmas though. Like I said in my last post, I would hope folks make jokes at me when I die or better yet when I am on my death bed. That would be just too awesome! Hell wish me dead now if you want so long as you make it a joke and not an actual hateful death wish. That is when it's not funny. The Doug joke however was indeed funny. It was a joke not an actual wishing him death thing.

Permalink Reply by Mari on January 22, 2011 at 3:38 Well you are in the minority there with your view on her sounding too old. She sounded brilliant, perfect for the part, end of. Bare in mind that Elizabeth Báthory was well into her 40's when she was up to no good.
