God vs. Satan
Okay, hopefully there has been no topic about this.
Right at the moment I am fairly interested in who is actually evil in the Bible. Satan, or his Creator God?
Now I highly think the bible is a text full of religious Dogma from the church, but this is interesting to just show people. However, sadly most people will still keep faith in "God" no matter what.
I am very neutral at least saying I believe that spirituality exists. However, I don't agree with religions etc. etc.
I haven't read the bible cover to cover, but so far from what I've heard from people is that Satan hasn't really killed anyone at all except for one-time under God's command. On the other hand God has killed millions. He is Egotistical, a Sadist, and Genocidal. If god is omnipotent, why did he let Satan rebel against him in the first place? Why did he have to send himself as his "son" to die on a cross for our sins if he created it in the first place?
No I am pretty sure the text's are used to control masses and were tampered with many times. It is obviously written by man, many different men to be precise over a period of time.
So hopefully, someone here knows more about the numbers than me. Also let's make this discussion interesting. All opinions welcome. :)

But Satan gave Adam and Eve the ability to know what is good and what is evil if they took from the tree. Why would God not want them to have knowledge and just be blind for eternity?

Of course the church wanted it, Christianity wasn't invented for the better of mankind it was put into place for politics and power!

NO, not blind ... CLEAR ... clarity!
Put a rock in front of an ant, it goes around it, do it again ... around .... keeps going. Do it to man "What's this, what'll I do? " "Will I go to the left or right ... or climb over?" Enter the authority figure "God said go left" and makes up some story as to why. The philosopher writes a book about the possibilty that left may be an option ... and on it goes.
Adam and Eve without this "knowledge" would have just "lived" without the sea of confusion.Daimonos said:

Kevin, I totally agree with you. Is like said Phycoscot said, religion was made for politics and is a way to control people's mind. The Bible? A book written by men trying to make the "correct" path. God? Humans got the urge to believe that out there is something bigger than them. Look into history, all the Gods that has been made by the human mind.

Probably his attempt at two questions in one? Gnosis and Gnosticism ...lol
Gnosis means the knowledge of the "self" ... the enlightenment of the human being compared to the followers of "faith" in dogma or "rationally thinking" or theorizing as in the Christian churches view. Over-simplified explanation ... look it up if you're really interested.
