And I don't get it.

I would love to go back to work. No matter how busy it's at work it can't be as exhausting as being home with ill 5yo who is really cranky and doesn't listen to anything.

Her* She's in daycare when I'm at work but if she's ill I'm home with her. And she's at her father every other week (shared custody and he lives 3min walk from where I live).

Damn my immune system. I hate being sick.
I don't know what I have, but I've been throwing up for the past two days and last night I had a 103 fever.

I might have to go into work tomorrow too since no one wants to cover my shift. Fuck.

I found someone to cover my shift last night. It took a lot of begging, but it's covered.

I woke up this morning and felt slightly better. Fever's down. I'm at the normal 98.6.
I'm so fed up with eating toast and soup. I want real food! I might try eating a banana later. Get some potassium back into my system.

Employers are truly pricks. There should be a law whereby someone should not be allowed to work when ill - especially if it's contagious! Things like the Norovirus (stomach flu) can be passed on so easily, so you don't want someone who's infected with it serving you in a shop or restaurant for instance - that's how these things get spread in the first place!
