Carried on from the other thread (Link to Part 1 of this Topic) which has apparently become buggy.

Like the last one, discuss any upcoming Cradle-related stuff:

- Evermore Darkly EP/Live DVD (October 17th/24th, 2011)

- Midnight In The Labyrinth (April 2012)

- New Album (October 2012)

- Dani Filth's Poetry Book

- Side projects (Temple Of The Black Moon etc.)

Evermore Darkly is obviously the priority at the moment.

Actually drums on CatB sounds really bad ;) Even band members mentioned that.

Didn't Dani say that the album he was most proud of was CaTB?

Yes it does! There's is virtually no dynamics and the drums sound like they were recorded in a garage! The album basically has no bottom end or good bass! Production wise it is by far the worst Cradle album, and could use being completely remixed by someone competent! The majority of long time Cradle fans tend to agree production wise that album is bad!

No it doesn't.

audio quality/production (Cruelty needs this badly)

But if they changed the production it will no longer sound like CaTB.

I believe his favourite CoF's album is DaaD. And I guess he's proud, because it's a great album, but with a lot of production mistakes. I remember Sarah saying on previous board, that she cried after hearing it because her vocals sounded like they were flushed in a toilet :D

Fans can buy the original if they want, or a remastered/remixed version!

Many older films get remastered and have redesigned and remixed sound, in many cases improving them greatly! Many films remixed from mono into surround sound now sound brilliant and greatly improve the experience. Cruelty would still be the same music, just with a far more punchy and dynamic sound. If done well it would greatly improve the album. It's the one Cradle album I virtually never listen to as the production is just pathetic on every level.!

Keep the much desired ‘trveness’ in mind.

Maybe it would do Cruelty’s overall feel some good, but I fear the band would mess it up these days, perhaps by throwing in some o’ those obnoxious choirs.

If done well it could be brilliant, but I agree the chances of it being done well are slim to zero! lol

OMG

It would be awesome if they did remasters, especially of Vempire-Cruelty.

Make the drums sound alot more better. Even though I don't mind how they were originally.

Yes, it would. So, I don't see the point of these reissues, when they're doing absolutely nothing to the album.
