Carried on from the other thread (Link to Part 1 of this Topic) which has apparently become buggy.
Like the last one, discuss any upcoming Cradle-related stuff:
- Evermore Darkly EP/Live DVD (October 17th/24th, 2011)
- Midnight In The Labyrinth (April 2012)
- New Album (October 2012)
- Dani Filth's Poetry Book
- Side projects (Temple Of The Black Moon etc.)
Evermore Darkly is obviously the priority at the moment.

2. This site made no mention.
3. I'm on Dave's twitter list, he just this week mentioned it.
4. Why would people trust what someone outside the inner circle said like other sites.

Why does it even matter? He left the band this year, that's all we care about. We don't need an exact date.

Grrr my last post in this subject - I did NOT trust what other sites said which is why I did NOT put anything up on the forum before the man himself mentioned it, well actually I didnt put it up on the forum at all I just directed another member of this forum to go check out his twitter page...
I only put that quote from Prong up now as you were alluding I was lying about him being mentioned as 'ex COF' a couple of months back

Unless Charles is busy, its very possible he could be filling the bass spot like he did the last time Dave left the band years ago. He would know all the material being a life long fan, and very capable of learning DDVA songs in no time. No proof, just a thought.

It should probably be clarified that Dave is only filling in for the bassist from Prong whilst he is off touring with Soulfly, he was going to be part of the crew for the tour anyway and joined the other stand-in bassist (from Crowbar) on that part of the tour after the band found out he was involved and was already a Prong fan and knew how to play some of the songs. When explaining this the Prong front man referred to him as "Dave Pybus who has played with Cradle..." in past tense and the interviewer ONLY referred to him as "former Cradle bassist...".
So it seems the situation was being played down at that point (by Dave & Prong), for whatever reasons we may find out in time once the band officially announces it, if they ever bother, lol! I wonder what he'll get up to next musically, if anything at all?

Can someone ask James via Twitter/Facebook (he hadn't accepted my friend request) if he's still with the band? I have a bad feeling that we can see three new bandmates on upcoming gigs ;)
Anyway, I'm even glad that they're not making any soap operas on internet with Dave's/Caroline's/possibly James' leaving like Dimmu Borgir and Dream Theater did. Dani, Paul and Martin are focusing on new album and not some personal fights on various sites. I have respect for them for such mature behaviour.

Godspeed and DDVA were both bollocks! and Paul wrote them! Dave has gone so they need a new bassist! GET KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's already mates, has nothing major going on and is a fucking good song writer! He would be awesome and take Cradle away from all this kiddy Goth shit of late into a far darker nastier band!

That would be amazing if King did join, but I think Robin Graves would be the best option :)
But, King is right now in God Seed, and God Seed is one of the bands that will be touring with Cradle this Winter.

God Seed will never gather the type of money or fan base Cradle have though! Artistic merit is all well and good but doesn't put much food on the table! They are a Cult band!
He could do very well joining Cradle! Brilliant song writer and could really boost Cradles sound back to something darker and more adult!
I don't think Robin will ever return! ;) Not with the way the present Cradle works!
The band needs fresh blood in it's ranks, for the band to survive as at present they are just treading water!
