Carried on from the other thread (Link to Part 1 of this Topic) which has apparently become buggy.

Like the last one, discuss any upcoming Cradle-related stuff:

- Evermore Darkly EP/Live DVD (October 17th/24th, 2011)

- Midnight In The Labyrinth (April 2012)

- New Album (October 2012)

- Dani Filth's Poetry Book

- Side projects (Temple Of The Black Moon etc.)

Evermore Darkly is obviously the priority at the moment.

Agreed.

They're not the same band as they were in 90's, it's normal they have evolved and allowed their music to be more eclectic, which is great. It'd be boring to record the same album all over again. And I love FMF ;)

FMF isn´t one of my favourite tracks on DDVA but it´s still nice to listen to.

Personal I´m more into the old cradle music but I like their newer stuff a lot too.

There'll be new Metal Hammer UK released tomorrow with some article about CoF.

I was promised a scan already... XD

I’m surprised nobody noticed, after your not quite unjustified remarks about how the old albums were a lot better and whatnot.

Regarding Cradle’s general charts, however, it seems that none of the Venus Aversa have caught on like Her Ghost in the Fog, Nymphetamine or Temptation did, despite the band’s apparent attempts.

FYI, I was being sarcastic. And people took it seriously, job well done :)!

Amen to that!

Yeah, in one of Dani's magazine interviews somewhere ... one of his "not everyones cup of tea" style comments but I can't remember where? Obviously he was way more subtle, mentioning "possible" older fans reactions, going on to say (written to) "grab people's attention" as well.

It was a poor choice of words now you mention it, he more or less said written to "stir the pot" not to intentionally piss people off ... good point.

There's no evidence for that, is there?

FMF was written on purpose to piss people off (the old skool fans in general) and it worked.
