Carried on from the other thread (Link to Part 1 of this Topic) which has apparently become buggy.

Like the last one, discuss any upcoming Cradle-related stuff:

- Evermore Darkly EP/Live DVD (October 17th/24th, 2011)

- Midnight In The Labyrinth (April 2012)

- New Album (October 2012)

- Dani Filth's Poetry Book

- Side projects (Temple Of The Black Moon etc.)

Evermore Darkly is obviously the priority at the moment.

Agreed. Time for a change. I liked the artwork for Cruelty and Damnation a lot.

Maybe they should use an unknown artist. Should be interesting and also, *cough*

Dani used to draw....*cough*

As Hydra 666 said "I really hope they ditch the CGI look for some real hand drawned artwork or something" and using real models not cartoon caricatures ... though unlikely we can at least hope!

Here are some artists that are pretty snazzy.

Philipp Banken:

Joanna Krotka:

about the guitars: i remember paul saying something like he wanted to do all the guitar work from now on and james just for the tour because on studio paul will be doing all the guitars, ELECTRIC FAIL! yes sorry but james guitar skills are superior to paul's

Something among the lines of Nymphetamine artwork and Dusk plox.

So what do you guys think they will do with the album artwork this time?

Same person?

Or something different altogether.

I really hope they ditch the CGI look for some real hand drawned artwork or something.

Or just some stuff put together like Nymphetamine down.

What color should it be? I mean they've done green, blue, purple, brown, orange, a mix...

They should do pink for this album hahaha.

I'm  hoping for something totally different...

I would love hiring Nigel Wingrove again and doing more 'photographic' artwork, not CGI one. I really hope it won't be Paul.

Yes, that's right he did.

On James ... When Pauls guitar G broke in Cruelty Live on the DVD James didn't miss a beat ... seamless! Also James on Fuel TV kills One Foul Step live, lead and rythmn parts! Not saying who is better all round but James can sure do the lead if required just as well if not better.

would like to see 'midnight' or 'nymphetamine/evermore' style cover
a cover done by nigel wingrove would be also great!

Haha Cassandra I am not too sure about the second artist.lol That looks way off for Cradle!

The first artist seemed pretty cool.

I know haha, but I liked this one illustration Krotka did:

I'm more in favor toward Banken's artwork though.

Haha don't worry, of course I heard about the EP and MITL. I got the EP the day it was released. I'm not really interested in the orchestral album though, so I just check it on YouTube. Maybe I'll get it in the future.

I'm just saying that I used to follow every little piece of news. I used to read all the interviews, but around the time Godspeed came out I stopped following COF like that, and I missed a lot of little details (like who exactly played guitars on albums) so that's what I have to catch up sometime. :)

You're right, he did. How could I forget the title song LOL ... but tbh I don't know either? I'd only be guessing.
DDVA?  Has it been that long (though it seems like yesterday)! They have also released an EP and a Orchestral album since then as you would well have noticed by now but you have missed a fair bit. I remembered you straight away from when I rejoined in May 2010.  :)

I hope the next album sounds like the song Forgive Me Father (I Have Sinned).
