Carried on from the other thread (Link to Part 1 of this Topic) which has apparently become buggy.

Like the last one, discuss any upcoming Cradle-related stuff:

- Evermore Darkly EP/Live DVD (October 17th/24th, 2011)

- Midnight In The Labyrinth (April 2012)

- New Album (October 2012)

- Dani Filth's Poetry Book

- Side projects (Temple Of The Black Moon etc.)

Evermore Darkly is obviously the priority at the moment.

http://theorderofthedragon.com/profiles/blogs/21-06-2012-blog - new studio report.

"Nightmares of an Ether Drinker" - great title :D

Finally another studio report!

Haha I love Dani's since of humour about us complaining about "new-album hype"

best to keep the tracks secret.

and...

Dani:

"So, there you have it, we shall reconvene in a few weeks to survey the wreckage
left over from the finishing of the mix. Hopefully then I shall regale you with
a permanent album title ('Shitsville', 'Smell the Glove' and
'My First Cradle Album - Complete With Crayons' notwithstanding), final
tour dates, a prospective first sneak-peak at one of the songs, the first of
many album related competitions, news of the video and updated Summer
merchandise. Christ, maybe even a cookery corner!"

More riffs that go no where, vocals with absolute zero variety, keyboards that may as well not be there, slappy tacky drumagog'd drums, failed promises and rubbish digital artwork.

Can't wait.

lol we'll see..

Just seen the update on Dani's blog. I have an idea for the album title "Creepy Hellish Death". Well, it sounds like a Dimmu Borgir title  !

I’ll leave it to the lyrics to either save this album or see it depart into oblivion for good.

I am excited to hear the songs since Dani says the album is packed with classics. Haha.

I just hope that they embed instrumentals to this album. I felt that DDVA wasn't complete because of the absence of instrumentals.

Dani said something about "album related competitions..."

Does anyone know what he meant by that?

Nice blog update, as usual there is no point speculating as to what the album will sound like. I will just wait till it's finished and judge for myself! So far they have only let me down badly with DDVA! that's a pretty good record for any band I listen to.
