Carried on from the other thread (Link to Part 1 of this Topic) which has apparently become buggy.

Like the last one, discuss any upcoming Cradle-related stuff:

- Evermore Darkly EP/Live DVD (October 17th/24th, 2011)

- Midnight In The Labyrinth (April 2012)

- New Album (October 2012)

- Dani Filth's Poetry Book

- Side projects (Temple Of The Black Moon etc.)

Evermore Darkly is obviously the priority at the moment.

I can't believe it's Martin's third COF record already. Seems to me like yesterday when he joined.

A studio report already ? They're fast as lightning at Orkus !

Apparently Cradle will be featured in the new ORKUS. So I shall get that next week. :-)

Yep I agree, it's more likely a plug for Midnight as the release has had very little press.

I don't know if it will be a studio report, I will get the magazine today, and let you all know.

They have been in studio since April according to Dani, so it is possible.

Can't wait, but if it is it'll probably be the usual, "It's going to sound like the old-stuff" and also "It's sounding really good and fresh" lol

I bet more "actual" info on the new album will be announced online first.

I have it on good authority that it's Iron Maiden on crack in a dark graveyard!!!!1!

What makes people think they're going to return to form? It's just going to be another Godspeed-sounding album like the last one was, and the "studio report" will just be an interview about Dani's favourite artists/bands, Martin's favourite songs off of MITL and the only information we'll get is "It's going to be a return to form", "It's really, really fucking awesome!" and "It'll be released at some point this year.". Then you're going to get Paul saying how "punk" and "hip" it is at the end.

Yeah, this. Keep the choirs, add some noise, some slightly off beats (not offbeats) so that it doesn’t sound clinical, sterile, overly polished, and at least Midnight in the Labyrinth would have been awesome. I often think a return to analogue instruments and less Fruity Loops/FL Studio/Guitar Pro would do the band’s sound some real good.

Hi @ all: Well, ORKUS does not have Cradle in it! Whatever the hell? The newsletter said so...

Yeah basically to add excitement to fans who are awaiting the album. They should just lie to us up until the day it comes out and totally catch us off guard with something crazy different. I bet they will.
