Carried on from the other thread (Link to Part 1 of this Topic) which has apparently become buggy.

Like the last one, discuss any upcoming Cradle-related stuff:

- Evermore Darkly EP/Live DVD (October 17th/24th, 2011)

- Midnight In The Labyrinth (April 2012)

- New Album (October 2012)

- Dani Filth's Poetry Book

- Side projects (Temple Of The Black Moon etc.)

Evermore Darkly is obviously the priority at the moment.

Yes, Martin did the LI bit, but what a difference! Well, to me I think it's a big improvement in keys. Conflicting opinions but others who know their shit said orchestration on DDVA, but we now know MITL will be choral singers at least.

No idea.  I think James' girlfriend or wife once said he hates Dani.  The booklet even has soloist/tener/bass/alto/soprano credits.  Maybe the shouting girls were actual people?  Oh, Newby-Robson did orchestration in Thank your Lucky Scars, too.  I think the only keyboard parts Marthus did was the 2 minute extended part of Lilith Immaculate.

So Martin did that? It almost sounded like She Mourns A Lengthening Shadow, and Portrait of a Dead Countess.

Your replies are like nails on a chalk board.

Oh yeah. Cradle are surely listening to you and taking your ideas, I'm sure they've NEVER thought about Martin doing keyboards before now. -_-

Good one.

He most of took my idea, since I was the one who brought it up in the past. I wonder if they really browse on this forum?

Paul has finally confirmed Martin is definitely doing the keys for the new album. About time :)
Totally agree.

"Evermore Darkly", the new mini-album from British extreme metallers CRADLE OF FILTH, sold around 1,900 copies in the United States in its first week of release.

I expected a higher number based on people saying they bought a copy. But I cant say this a good number but not surprised.
Odd? Wonder if that includes pre-orders and Amazon? Seems rather low tbh

I guess Paul was right people downloading music for free really does do some damage. I'd say more people illegally downloaded the album verses that sad number of buys. Granted this only an EP but clearly all that effort that went into promoting the album. The sales and all that didn't work I guess. Oh well lets hope in all it pushes decent sales figures over sea's.
2000 for the first week for a single comprising of little new material by an "underground" band isn't surprising, really.  They've probably already made back the production costs.
Maybe your right either way still sort of shocked by the low number.

Ewwwww.... . That is low, I think 1900 people got ripped off, so it is a good thing the sales are low!
I bet Harder, Darker, Faster or Peace Through Superior Firepower didn't do much better in their first week.  Nothing to worry about, I don't think.

Memory serves me right they did do way better sales numbers.
