As we all know, Cradle usually has a sort of opening track at the beginning of each album. Which is your favorite?

Hmm... That's a really good question. There are many I like, but I guess I will have to agree with you. The first 18 minutes of VEmpire are just a seamless, wonderful musical overkill. I think Ebony dressed for Sunset could be the theme of a longer and even better song.

Instrumentals is really what I meant. I just thought Ebony Dressed for Sunset counts since the first couple of lines of the song.

Ebony Dressed For Sunset.
From there on in until the last echoes and screams of The Rape and Ruin of Angels you know you have just bore witness to the finest six songs in the history of Cradle Of Filth's discography.
The cutting, slashing sounds at the start of Ebony Dressed For Sunset make the perfect partner to the front cover image of Vempire. The sounds much like razor sharp wings and claws slashing through the burning red firey skies at dusk and through the flesh of innocence and mortality.
