Dusk plays would be even higher, but, as you can see, last.fm doesn’t recognize the proper ellipsis (‘…’) in the title, so as soon as I changed its name, it stopped counting songs contributing to the album plays. Same goes for the correct apostrophe in songs like A Gothic Romance (Red Roses for the Devil’s Whore).

Permalink Reply by Final on March 12, 2012 at 2:37 Yep. Curiously, when it comes to my overall most played songs, it’s second to Dark Funeral’s “The End of Human Race”.
Edit: Furthermore, you may notice that a few respectable masterpieces haven’t been played a lot although the album surrounding them well has. That is because I have a list of songs I consider so good that I only play them on very special occasions lest they’re wasted in everyday thoughts and distractions. In regards to Cradle, those are (in ascending personal appreciation) The Persecution Song, The Death of Love, Hurt and Virtue, Under Huntress Moon, Lord Abortion, Bathory Aria, Nemesis, The Rape and Ruin of Angels and Queen of Winter, Throned. Esoteric beliefs sauntered into the realm of listening behavior. :)
