What are your favorite albums? Mine are Midian, Creulty and the Beast and Bitter Suites to Succubi.

Godspeed was probably the album that Paul had the most influence on.  It's reasonable to say it's his favorite.

1. Dusk

2. Cruelty

3. Damnation

4. Godspeed

5. VEmpire

6. TPoEMF

7. Thornography

8. DDVA

9. Midian

10. Nymphetamine

 

Not to say that I dislike any of the lower-ranked ones

No. Paul has already said that Principle is his favorite album.

Putting Vempire's questionable rank aside, I wonder what made you include that but neither Bitter Suites to Succubi, From the Cradle to Enslave nor Evermore Darkly? I mean, either all EPs or none o' them, right?

But ... he said this ... possibly the "lol" has some meaning LOL as in kidding, of course he was kidding when he said that! Actually he said Dusk too as a close second but yes, TPoEMF.

To be fair, Dani has said in interviews that although released an interim EP, being over 40 mins long it is more like an album. But I see your point here.

Vempire is about 35 minutes long, right? Except for From the Cradle to Enslave, the other EPs were all longer than that.

Whoops, revised.  Anyway, I should explain VEmpire's rank.  Song-for-song, VEmpire IS better than each album except Dusk, but it's not long enough or consistent within songs.  Godspeed offers more songs and has a better flow and feels more complete due to the narration and proper beginning and ending.  The vocals for Godspeed are also a major factor, because they're very smooth and sound comfortable for Dani.
