Search the web, be patient. They cost about 80€, so be sure to have that much when the time comes. There are other markets that offer these things besides eBay.

Permalink Reply by ADreamOfWolves on May 14, 2011 at 17:26 I kinda agree, Dani's vocal gymnastics are at their most extreme in Nocturnal Supremacy '96. I'm pretty sure there is not a song out there where Dani's high pitch screams are higher and better than that song right there. But, you have to admit.. Carmilla's Masque is just absolutely beautiful and IMO their most beautiful and best instrumental to date. Hell Awaits is just a great cover and a classic. So, you really can't go wrong between the Coffin and Digipack.
Is there anything extra you get in the digipack or coffin edition that you don't get in the regular jewel case Dusk... And Her Embrace?

I love the Coffin Edition of Dusk. Filthy113 was kind enough to let me have his when he got rid of his collection. Though, when it comes to bonus songs, I prefer the Digipak to the Coffin Edition - Nocturnal Supremacy '96 rocks!

Asides from that, the Digipak has, naturally, slightly different packaging, the booklet has the lyrics of Nocturnal Supremacy.
The coffin edition has a different band foto, the quote by Summers is given twice in the booklet, but it doesn't have the lyrics of the bonus songs.
No idea what the Japanese edition contains.

Permalink Reply by ADreamOfWolves on May 14, 2011 at 19:56 I just don't get why the Japanese always get the best editions. Is it because the bands try to release the best editions overseas hoping that they can spread the word of their band better?
I mean, if you buy the digipack version, you get an extra song but you're technically missing 2 songs from the Dusk recording sessions. And if you go the extra way, and you buy the Coffin edition, then you have the rest of the 2 songs, but are now missing Nocturnal Supremacy 96.
Therefore the only way to have all 12 songs from the Dusk Recording Sessions (unless they have another song(s) from the recording sessions that they still have not released.. unlikely) (without having to buy all 3 different editions of Dusk) Is to buy the Japanese version. Which is not very common on ebay unfortunately.
And the language is probably in Japanese too... :(
Permalink Reply by Final on May 14, 2011 at 20:12 If you can't get your hands on the Japanese edition, you have to purchase two editions (coffin-shaped box and digipak) if you want all the songs. 'twas similar with Cruelty and the Beast.
Pretty sure the language will not be Japanese. It wasn't translated into German over here, either, so why should they.
Permalink Reply by ADreamOfWolves on May 14, 2011 at 20:30 The first paragraph is what I basically said, just more drawn out... :P
I have the Cruelty and The Beast 2 CD Special Edition, The first CD is the regular Cruelty Album and the 2nd CD is all the extra songs that were released in other special editions/releases. That is the only reason I bought that certain one compared to the other editions, is because it had all the songs from the Cruelty recording sessions in one release :) Killing 2 birds with 1 stone..

Agree on Cruelty. Well... I ended up with all three versions, anyway, but meh.

Permalink Reply by GRU on May 14, 2011 at 22:47 The Dusk... And Her Embrace coffin edition was my first Cradle rarity purchase. I absolutely love it! The artwork is soo nice and of course the music was just as great! I give it a 10/10. Money well spent!
Though it would have been nice if Nocturnal Supremacy was added...
