Does anyone else think Dani doesn't put too much emotion in his vocals anymore?

Whenever I hear newer CoF albums, it sounds like the same vocal-wise in every song, which is:  A semi-long opening scream, regular ultra heavily layered verse vocals, less layered interlude vocals.  Would it be too much if Dani really just put some emotion in it, like a heavy growl, or maybe some shouted cleans like in The Rape and Ruin of Angels, or at least put some more effort into his screams like before the 3rd verse of The Persecution Song.  Awhile back I thought Dani was a fantastic vocalist, and he's still very uniqe, but now I think he just sounds like he doesn't care about the vocals these days.  I'm just voicing my oppinion, wondering if anyone else thinks the same.

 

Even if you don't think so, go ahead and post your thoughts.  The forums have been pretty stale lately, so it would be nice to see some discussion.

Right....I am ignorant, coming from the person who make's up and agrees with the darnest things.

 

No they aren't emo. Those were examples, emo being a joke. I don't see emotion in Cradle sorry.

Maybe it's the keyboard and atmosphere that give the emotion in CoF's music, not the vocals (at least not anymore IMO).  Especially in older albums, I really felt something in the old keyboard interludes, like Black Goddess Rises and Funeral in Carpathia.

Well I miss his old screams from like live shows 2001 and so that was the greatest time for cradle I miss the heavy left candid that show was freaking awsome i have the live dvd its awsome as hell his old screams

You like Cradle of Filth, don't you? That is an emotion. You like them because their music makes you feel positive emotions when you listen to it.
