Finally got it today! =D Turns out my mom was hiding my package for some reason lol. Anyways, love the whole thing, the only thing wrong with it is one rip in the corner of the box but oh well, I'm just glad it's here! I'm look forward to reading the book and I have yet to watch the dvd. Hail COF!

am i the only one that doesnt has its box set yet?
it sucks, i thought it was ok until friday (being from Mexico and all that)
but more than 2 weeks? :/ i read someone from Australia already has it
im starting to get worried and pissed because i replied burningshed about this
since friday and i still dont have any answers
With all the problems that already has and then this, dont know what more can happen
first time for me that something takes that ammount of time
If im gonna have to wait another 2 weeks for the broken cd too... thats it
One thing im sure is i will never buy something from peaceville/burningsheed again

"Can I just take a moment to dispel some of the myths that are building up?
First the numbers by orders (1) and (2) on some. These were simply internal devices as we were originally going to ship these in order of the date of purchase. In the end this was so popular we decided to ship by date and size. The (?) numbers were nothing to do with the manufacturing of either the contents or the boxes which, in turn, we had nothing to do with.
A few (very few thankfully) people seem to be laying the box problems at our door. Can I just say that the vast majority of the boxes have arrived at destinations worldwide in perfect condition.
Here's how it all worked: Peaceville and the band decided what was going to be in the set and Peaceville arranged manufacturers including a company to package it all in both the beautiful inner box and the outer mailer. The sets arrived with us in the mailers and 'all' the involvement we were supposed to have was sorting and labeling. As some of you know we usually like to package items ourselves as we're pretty hot on packaging - many of our customers are collectors and all are music lovers. However, in this instance and with the time factors (bearing in mind the original delay) things were different.
We are, of course, arranging with Peaceville to get more boxes in so that we can ship them out to those who have been affected - again it is a very small, but still regrettable number. This is what we do as part of our customer service. It's not our 'fault' so it's not the 'least we can do'. It's just what we do because getting it right is as important to us (and to Peaceville) as it is to you.
If you have a problem with your box and you haven't emailed me yet please do. I'm on support@burningshed.com
The defective audio CD is one of those things that happens at a pressing plant once in a blue moon and it's just sods law that it happened with the fan set after all the delays too. Replacement CDs will be sent out as soon as we've got them here, via Peaceville, from the manufacturer.
If you still haven't received your copy and you usually get post pretty quickly from the UK you may want to ask at your local post office - the postmen don't always remember to leave cards when they try to deliver.
Finally may I thank everyone who has been in touch for the very polite manners on display. You Filth fans are damn nice people ;~)

This show us they want to do the right thing... I'm sure this kind of situation doesn't happen often... otherwise they would be closed. Sure this makes you feel disappointed... but hey it's going to be fixed. Some people said stuff like "I love CoF but after this is not going to be the same". Do you know what I mean? What I said before may sounded harsh, sorry about that.

I only mentioned that Peaceville/BurningShed ARE responsible for the product, since they're the ones selling it. Hence they're replacing the defective items - not just out of the kindness of their heart, but because it's what any decent retailer should do if they provide a faulty product, and this fellow has every right to be disillusioned with them. No drama necessary.

Peaceville are excellent at replying to emails, I've found. They will reply if they received it.
