Okay considering the title of the other discussion is kind of dated. I am making this one so that it is more up to date and fresh for the new album. So Go ahead and start talking about it hear. :)

NO album is universally praised. This is the first negative review I have seen. Stark contrast to the other review saying this is their best album. I'm sure its somewhere in between. I am not worried after all the samples I have heard.

Exactly... don't get me wrong, this is the kind of review I was looking for... I mean, I wanted to see the opinion of the ones that did not like the album... it's good to see both positive and negative reviews, since the album is not out yet.

The new "design" consists of a changed banner while the Godspeed buttons are all still there... Oh, and the font is different.

"In reality, this song sounds more like a really heavy Mr. Bungle song than something that Cradle Of Filth should be doing."

BUNGLE!

This reviewer sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about. And if there's no musical vomiting vocals, no porn film samples, no Grampa Simpson voices, no ketjaking and no sax/thrash riff passages, then it's just not Mr. Bungle (who were far darker, heavier and scarier than Cradle have ever been).

I have no idea who or what Mr. Bungle is, but that makes it sound like some kind of goregrind band.
"some of the greatest and heaviest rock released this year"

x.X

keyword "rock". Anywho the review seems too "generalized" and to me the site that did the review just seems the type of site where general music is often frequented or some sort of that.
Ok I just went on my iTunes to look for this "Introduction with Dani" track off DDVA and on both Pre-Orders I do NOT see it.. Why is that?
haha, right?

I was wondering about that. Is the "heaviest rock" also the "softest metal"? No idea how that works.

We will have to see what this track is all about. I really hope it is not on the regular CDs, as it would... ruin the atmosphere (unless Dani's short speech is followed by some instrumental like At the Gates of Midian or Ebony Dressed for Sunset). Wasn't there this so-called answering machine that was just like that?

I have no idea but I thought the Dani Answering Machine mp3 was funny as hell, because I wanna put that as my voicemail LOL
