That's the one I saw too. A friend told me there is also a print interview somewhere where he goes more in depth, but I haven't found it yet. In the video one he does tell the guy that he didn't always have that range though and that he practices to keep it. That's the important part I guess.

It's mainly about manipulating air and fluids in the throat flowing through the vocal cords as well as the muscles of throat. It takes a shit ton of practice and persistence to hit the growls and screams with the volume and range that Dani has. There is at least one interview out there where Dani talks about practicing his screeches, screams, and growls. Some people are never able to do it at all, and others obtain it through training themselves over time. Dani's range is unique and near impossible to duplicate.
As for Dani's clean voice in song, if you listen closely (very closely) you can hear Dani's clean voice in several songs. Use headphones, don't have the volume too loud (or the music will hide it), and pay close attention.

Yeah, I'll agree with you there. It takes practice, and that's all there is to it. I hear a lot about magical secret buttons on his microphone and all of that sort of nonsense. You've really got to explore your voice and take hold over your discoveries through practice. The only way, as I see it.

Just sign a pact with a demon or do the crossroads ritual or directly deal with the devil - most likely would be a low level demon youll actually commune with but they might pretend to be satan if your lucky haha - most people wouldnt know the difference anyway. Then make your demands you really should use pentacles and correct ritual practice. I recommend you ask for something really stupid!!!

Melissa Cross is (or was) one of his coaches.
As for how he does the vocals, I can do similar vocals, obviously different because it's my vocal chords but the growl is like a fry scream with your mouth in a whistle position.
My highs feel like a stream of air travelling from my throat to the ceiling of the mouth and then out, it's like whistling with your mouth open, comes out kinda like 2001 Dani. In a good day, I can combine this with a little fry and make a great, gargling shriek.
The hardest part is volume, now that takes a lot of training, breath and stamina. Not something you ought to try after waking up. Warm ups help, even if just breathing exercises to have more air to expel.

I said ONE of them. If she mentioned him, I don't think she would be lying. It might have been only one or two sessions but he must have gone there, else Melissa would be illegally taking advantage of Dani's fame.

Dani may be quite wealthy, but I'm certain he doesn't have the time nor money to travel to New York every time he wants a vocal lesson.
As far as I know, he just sees someone in England.

You stopped at that page and didn't bother to check the list of bands she has worked with or any interview with Dani (he doesn't mention her, but mentions having seen several people about keeping the voice). When she said he would be seeing her or someone else, maybe it means he has been with her before, or maybe not. I don't know what beef you have with Melissa, send her an email asking, if you're that obsessive.
But whatever makes you sleep at night.

Nobody can even name another vocal coach simply because she's the only one who sells DVDs (which are essentially comprised of vocalists going on about how amazing she is, with the occasional generic singing warm-up exercise) at extortionate prices, and makes it seem like no other vocal coach could teach you. It's very annoying.
