for those who want to watch full show a great show!

"You two down there, you sound like HER GHOST IN THE FOG!"

What does that even mean?

It means Dani forgot to make sure what he said made sense.

His lower and mid-range vocals still sound good, but I think it's time to retire the screeching, at least in a live setting.  Good setlist, but some of Dani's worn out screeches hindered my enjoyment of it.

I've been saying that for a while.  But on the other hand, it's a kind of trademark of the band and I suppose it would make singing songs which feature it on the recording quite difficult.

They just recorded an album, that's probably why his voice is worn out. He did great on their last tour or so though, but the Graspop show is kinda meh.

I remember someone saying on youtube something like "he sounded better when I was there ( at WoA)", so who knows? Besides, this youtube vid is pretty awful imo.

Well obviously.  The sound is much more distorted when you're actually there (especially festivals) so it's harder to notice any flaws, but it's much clearer when you hear the soundboard mix.  It's the same with any band - it's not a case of whoever made the video deliberately redubbing the vocals to make them sound worse.

Does he even drink water on stage? That's needed to keep your throat from drying, so you can still sing. And any alcohol before or on stage can really tear up your vocals and ruin the performance.

Here is the gig for those who want to rewatch

I had a watch last night. They sounded on form. Its disgusting how they dont get the same love at home. Not alot of people moving but people showed respect.
