Commercialization of Satanism
Satanism described in your songs sound absolutely wonderful , but the connection between the band Cradle of Filth and Satanism its just a commercial one? I am studying traditional Satanism for several years now, i know you all heard this question like a thousand times before, Satanism in my opinion is not expressed by a group of people, with painted face and bold voice. Satanism is by nature the contradiction of every existing law, be it sacred or not. The worship of deities who manage to make this contradiction is another matter. Satanism for you is a point of view or the worship of the old gods....At litteram?

How can you like a deity or a religious power if you do not know anything about it. As well you could be Christian. With answers like this you guys give Satanism a bad picture, as far as black metal did.

well i certainly fuckin hate god! lol my mom is an obsessive bitch about it, AND my catholic gf just dumped me because "she needs someone who actually would GO to church with her"... i told her i wasnt very religious, and i was kinda agnostic, and apparently shes a god biased bitch. so so far i have a pretty good couple of reasons to hate god. idk i just wanna summon demons and stuff and be evil!

Girlfriend dumping you or mum being religious shouldn't make you hate god and how can anyone really think dating a catholic would end up well when you're not religious yourself?

@Dave: So let me understand. You hate God because your cristhian girlfriend broke up with you tired to go alone to church. Before that you were agnostic without knowing certainly that there is any divinity, and you have become a worshiper of Satan after she dumped you? So this shock made you believe in dark forces.... hmmm.... I am curious how a divorce might redefine your system of beliefs.
@Sean: Satan RULLZ, Satan WINS ... childhood absurdity proof. Please avoid these statements and try to write in English so we can understand something ... and perhaps something more philosophical if possible.
P.S.: I am not cristhian ... I have gnostic beliefs, not a Cradle Of Filth fan but a often listener.

Shitty hell Sean that's hard to read and hurts my eyes. Unfortunately some people seriously write that bad English if it can be called that.
Honestly I just think Satanism has the shock-value and some people who are out and loud into Satanism make big deal out of it since it's misunderstood and "evil" (to the eyes of Christians etc.) religion/-ism. I don't think it's contradiction to every single existing law out there, it just compromises some of the beliefs and ideologies people have.
To me it's just one way of thinking with the other religions/ways of life. If it suits people - and they understand it and not mix it up with this stupid satan worshipping stuff - then it's up to them to believe in it.

Stop using the name Anton Szandor La Vey. I read about all his works in my childhood. The problem is that Lavey has rediscovered the wheel. I mean that all things written in the Satanic Bible in the Book of Lucifer, is a set of doubts. Everyone has his doubts, be it Muslim, Christian, Satanist. Therefore you probably felt you had the ideas contained in the book before you have read it read. The worst thing is that this book has no beginning and end. The book is a mixture of opinions of people that were part of the Satanic Church, and fragments from other books. I was really close to shit my pants of laughts when I saw that in the Satanic Bible list of demons was part Dracula. I am romanian, Dracula is not a demon, is a legend - the fight for survival against Ottoman tyranny.
Satanic Bible in her formula made someone who decided to take the name of Satanism and Satanic Church, verry rich. The book was expensive, and to be a member you had to pay $ 100. It was something in fashion, it was the business of the century. Lavey unfortunately was not more than an big mouth atheist.
The modern satanism is a bullshit. It does not exists in my eyes.
I do not want to appear smarter, but there are some things I know and hate.

I sed that i am gnostic. That means I beliefe that humans are deitys traped in the material plane. I dont beliefe in darkness neather in light. I believe in the universal balance of things. The principle of equalization of all that exists. Your Evil perception is not bad or good, it is necessary to equalize your perception of good. Evil and Good, dark and light exists only in limited minds like Satanism and Christianity. The whole Universe and existence is about balance and infinity in self dimensions.
