CoF Tour Report 2010-2011-2012-2013

the time is here at last here, the world tour starts from December 10th 2010 and continues into 2011, then on 2012 at Wacken and after that again november 2012 continuing into 2013, here's a topic for people who assists to see cradle live to post reports, news, songs played, how was the live experience, and all the details about the shows, pictures/videos of cradle live are welcome.

U.S. TOUR CANCELLED! Cradle Of Filth US Tour Cancellation Statement Cradle Of Filth are really sorry to tell all of their fans that their US tour '28 Days Closer to Hell' is going to have to be cancelled, due to US
immigration issues beyond the band’s control. They have been desperately trying to solve
these problems, but it has become evident
they are not going to be resolved in time for
the band to embark on a tour that starts next
week. The band sincerely apologise to all their fans
and to the other acts on the tour and want to
assure people they have made every effort
possible to go ahead with the tour.

Yeah he actually said that in Houston, then they played tpoemf. It sounded like he was glad the song was over.

This doesn't mean he is going to remake Dusk And Her Embrace....

 

Plus idk about you guys but before the concert I was pretty psyched about the song Nymphetamine, i was always singing it in my head.lol I kept watching the epic video. I usually don't care about anything off the Nymphetamine album anymore except for a few.

I would love to see them play A Crescendo of Passion Bleeding or Of Mist and Midnight Skies.

And not to be like my usual self.. But honestly, I really don't think anyone really like Nymphetamine now. Except for the "fans" who know like 5 songs from Cradle. I mean yeah, it had it's popularity and fame. But, since the band plays it at every show they ever played since 2004. It's just really old and boring. So, I can't really see how you were looking forward to them playing that song. When.. you KNEW they were going to be playing classics like Heaven Torn and Funeral...

It seems like "Nymphetamine" is Cradle's "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

Kurt Cobain hated to perform that song live because it was so overplayed, but it's what made them popular.

Paul mentioned in an interview that "Nymphetamine" is a downer to play and I guess now it has gotten to Dani too because they perform this song ALL the time and it is a downer. Most of their songs are a bit fast paced and then they perform "Nymphetamine." It's a buzz kill to their set.  I can understand why they are getting sick of it. Now, I don't hate the song, personally, but just getting my point out here. I"m also going to throw the fact that this song made Cradle go out into the mainstream.

After that it got very commercial lots of stuff shirts ,bonus cd:s.Thats when i jumped of the cradle..People use to call those who listened to cradle or dimmu as posers.It was crazy..i´m telling u..

I met with James he said the next tour will have more obscure songs. I dunno if he meant overseas UK or what. I loved the show and they really do sound near perfect live. I swear if the play Rape and Ruin or Death Magick for Adepts I will be pissed I didn't see it.

Well it was just because I was prepping for the concert and getting all Cradled up. Plus that was the only song I could show my gf to prep her for the show, and along those lines for some reason it got stuck in my head for a while again. Plus it's like one of three good music videos they have: Nymphetamine, Babylon AD, Forgive Me Father.

 

Anyway, I was being sarcastic about Dusk. It sounded like you were jumping for joy about Dani saying what he said so therefore I replied that it "doesn't" mean they will make *insert old album* again. {joke}
