Charles Hedger
I was checking out his my space and seems to me that he is a very superior guitar player. Why didn't he record and write Godspeed? Paul is the only guitar in the new record. I think Charles should get involve in cradle a bit more since he wrote a couple of great solos in thornography. He also hides from fans. What do you people think?

He does hide...At the meet and greets he seems very distant. Guess its just him maybe he doesn't like attention.

It's pretty much been this way with Paul doing all the guitar work since Damnation an a Day when Martin did a few guitar parts. Ever since Gian departed its been all Paul mostly. Yes James did do some stuff, but again its mostly all Paul like it was in the early days, and nowadays.
I miss Gian! Gian and Paul where a great songwriting combo. If you don't believe me, listen to Midian, its there "Guitar" album of the collection, an it rocks!

YES i think he's great but there are a lot of people that can separate things and i dont know if he looks to cradle of filth in the same way he looks to his very own band but i think we all should thank him for the live performances he gives to us :D

Part of it I think is that Charles is in it for the ride, for his deceased brother, to promote himself, and he himself was a huge fan of CoF in its earliest days.
In it for the ride, cause well its an open door into the business with the help of a great band. As for his deceased brother, his brother an Paul where good friends. So Charles had that connection with Paul from the very beginning of this band origin, when he was just a young teenager. If I recall his brother loved CoF, an again was good friends with Paul, and Charles would learn the tunes cause of it all. You could almost say he was breed into the filthy bunch from an early start. He knew all the old songs when he signed up to play bass when Dave was away on personal leave. He was a quick fix to get on tour then. He again when James left, was a quick fix to carry the band onward.

Why cant there be 4 guitar players in cradle???
i would be awsome with Gian, Paul, Charles and James all headbanging on stage :-)
i saw a video of Gian with The Rotted and he dosnt look diffrent only that he dosnt have dreads anymore ( i think he looks delicius with them)
and no affrence to Martin S or Ashley but I want Adrian and Martin P. in the band again also .
Cradle just isnt the same to me without Adrian or Martin P. If you listen carefully to Thornography and Godspeed you will find out that you aculay can hear that Adrian isnt on Godspeed
