Animal Cruelty
I hate it! Maybe it's the worst thing on the world (My opinion).

Ha HA HA Thats what I've been telling pepole for years, ANYTHING that grows,weather and animal or plant bleed when you cut them. Just because you cann't hear them scream dose not mean they are not alive. If that was the case mute pepole are not living. You cann't hear them scream if you cut them,but they bleed.

I think going vegan is a choice, whether philosophical, or perhaps possibly as in my unfortunate case, medical.
But people cannot shove a way of life down other people's throats. If their aim is to "Respect all life" then respect the lives of those who eat flesh.
Do increase awareness about cuelty, and alternative forms of farming, ens. but going only for shock value doesn't leave much of an impression with regards to the message you are trying to send.
And technically, those veggies were alive too until you CUT THEM FROM THEIR MOTHER'S EMBRACE AND TORTURED THEM IN THE LIQUID NITROGEN FREEZE!!!!
You see, I can do extreme too.

If plants aren't "sentient" explain to me why my morning glorys open in the morning and close up in the late morning. My moon flowers only open a little at night until the moon comes out then they open up all the way. Not to mention that my wifes flowers will follow the sun so that they are always pointing at the sun. Oh and by the way if one plant is attach the other put up defences. Weather it's fowl smells or suddenly make themself's toxic. And no I am not a Veggie I raise my own cattle, chicken, and hogs. I also butcher them myself. I allso grow most of my own veggie, not every thing will grow were I live. I also hunt Deer, Turkey, Squirrel, Duck, Frog, And any thig else that is MEAT and that is legal in this area.

I am not defening these veggie ideas. I love meat and veggies on my plate. I,m just tring to let pepole know there two sides to everything no matter how crazy both sides sound.

Morning glories and other plants like that react to sunlight - which makes them either curl up or open up. For example morning glories might not open up for a whole day if there is no sunlight.

Thats o.k. you can call me what you want but I'm the one with two degreas, a hand full tech. certs. and my own company. So if what I type makes me an idiot than so be it. Oh and by the way I know they have no nerves system. But anybody with enough info the right carisma can make a desent argument.

Plants don't have a central nervous system. They don't have brains, they are not self-aware, and they are eaten by every herbivore and omnivore on the planet. If you really can't tell the difference between plants and animals, I really don't know what to say. I can't remember anything too specific, since I haven't been taught any of this since PRIMARY SCHOOL.
Go back to spearing your frogs.

Not sure how this thread has turned in to an argument. But it's pointless You are set in your own oppion. And no matter what any one else thinks or says will change your mind. ANd for Bush his was bought by his father. I had to work for mine. I'll go ahed and say it I am no tree hugger, but I do feel that animal cruelty is wrong. All of my live stock meet a quick and timely death. I like to use my 10 gauge or sometimes my 7mm magnum. MMMMM ribs on grill.

Plants don't have a central nervous system. They don't have brains, they are not self-aware, and they are eaten by every herbivore and omnivore on the planet.
