pink floyd-dark side of the moon

however,no album can be perfect, there always tiny tiny tiny tiny mistakes, some you dont realise until you've listened to it about 100393672364664 times, but these albums i consider to be the closest;)

exacly! thats why the topic is not "the perfect album" but "the albums you consider perfect". its all about relativity! :D

sticking to just cradle here (my list of perfect albums span about too many years of music to list them all)
I find it interesting that a 6 song EP, released to fufill a record company obligation could be such a beast of an album. Of course,, im speaking of VEmpire, thats a damn near perfect album

I agree 100%!
5 Perfect Albums:
Converge-Jane Doe
Between the Buried and Me-Colors
Nine Inch Nails-The Downward Spiral
CunninLynguists-A Piece of Strange
Neurosis-The Eye of Every Storm
Perfect EP:
The Dillinger Escape Plan- Irony is a Dead Scene

Perfect Cradle:
Well, initally I would say Vempire, but upon further examination I don't really think that. I vasly prefer the '96 version of Nocturnal Supremacy to the point where I never listen to the one on Vempire. She Mourns A Lengthening Shadow is boring, even by Cradle instrumental standards. So for me it'd be a split between Midian and Dusk and Her Embrace, but I don't care for "Amor E Morte" or "Heaven Torn Asunder", respectively.

yes, nothing from Trent can beat that yet.
Cradle of Filth: Midian
Gorgoroth: Incipit Satan
Belphegor: Lucifer Incestus
Shining: IV- The Eerie Cold
Lord Belial: Unholy Crusade
I agree with you for midian

Yikes, that's a hard question!
In no particular order:
Cradle of Filth - Dusk and Her Embrace
HIM - Venus Doom
Slipknot - Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses
Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia
Arch Enemy - Doomsday Machine
Wow that took me, like, 10 minutes to decide...
Well, I haven't heard many songs from that album, so I can't really say it's perfect! But I like what I HAVE heard.

I prefer "All Hope Is Gone". ;) The lyrics on it finally made me scream: yeah man, that's holy fucking true!
Oh yes, it was a tight call on that one. But I chose Vol. 3 over All Hope is Gone because there is a song on the latter that I don't like. I like every single song on Vol. 3.
