Although its not really musicaly related to COF, I recently joined with a friend who had sort of a one-man musical project caled Savert, as the guitarrist. Maldor, now vocals only, had already assembled some songs which he thought weren't capturing the cold, sentimental essence of the forests, so, he wrote the lyrics and I came up with the guitar riffs, and together we managed to do what he alone could not. We then named it Ajatar, who is a female spirit that is said to be the mother of all evil in Finnish folklore.
You can look it up on youtube through this link:

Any comments and opinions would be very apreciated!

Permalink Reply by Victoria Thorne on February 3, 2012 at 16:58 i will first let you know that i normally do not like this kind of music (as catagorized)its dani's voice that draws me to cof. i went to you tube and listed to this one that you have left link for here and another that i saw. the voice is good and so are the drums but the voice sounds seperated from the music (not in synch) find a common rythm in the song and instrument should follow-- ill use cof as a reference---- Dani always has a rythm to his verse, like poetry do that and you should be phenominally awesome you have excellent tools to work with

Permalink Reply by Tornheavenassunder666 on February 3, 2012 at 18:58 Thanks for your honesty, I'll be sure to give that advice to Maldor, the vocalist. We have a new song, which was recorded right in the forest with a little tape recorder and a mini amplifier that runs on one 9v battery haha!
I'm going to upload it to my profile now, so you can have a listen and tell me what you think.
