advice on my photoshop pieces

i have been a huge fan of art all my life. i love to draw. but, recently i have decided to try out some photoshop pieces and have came up with these. i would just like your opinion and advice on how to do some more nice effects and such as i am new to using this programm :)

i know there both the same i just wanted to mess around with the letters and shit! :P

Hey, not bad! try using repetition in your work by using layers, and adjusting the luminosity of the repetition, like image 1....It gives the composition a sense of "unity'. Download more specific fonts for your chosen path of "feeling". Add text effects and bevel them, like image 2...

Also do your self a favor and take a few Photoshop tutorials on YouTube...

thanks for the advice, will try that on the next thing i do. and ive been trying to find some time to look at some youtube tutorials, but i will get round to it. thanks again :)
