Pure fucking idiocy. An opinion or feeling towards a disreable thing in life has nothing to do with that egomaniacal , childish, and retard shit disguised as elitism.

And the fact that the title of this topic is "WHO Is your favorite song"...

Permalink Reply by Final on August 4, 2011 at 23:12 Bathory Aria is, if you so want, the softest song on that album ‒ or at least the most melodic. :P
And A Dream of Wolves in the Snow is… Well, not really an instrumental, but I wouldn't call it a song representing its album, either.
Don't worry, really. There is no need to vindicate your tastes. In time, you will most likely get to love their old works as much as their new ones and, perhaps, even prefer the early material ultimately. Musical hardness is something one has to get used to, not even the "truest" kvlt black metal fan listened to Endstille in their cradle (unless they had somewhat special parents).

I just stumbled over Nymphetamine, because it appeared first, when I typed in Cradle on Youtube, when I wanted to try their music. At first I was more attracted by the female voice. And it has an incredible melody that goes in your ears and will stay there until you are a real fan.
I also love very much "A Dream of Wolves in the snow". Is this old enough? Why should the old songs be harder?
I think the hardness is more a question of the background story. So I find Cruelty and the Beast the hardest. I disliked this album at first, but the Bathory Aria trapped me.

Permalink Reply by Final on August 5, 2011 at 20:05 Well… Of course, the music doesn't get softer no matter how many times you listen to it. All that changes is, as you said, your perception of it.
I have to disagree with the sophisticated part, actually. There are many reasons, but just look at the lyrics of the old songs. I mean, really…

I think we could discuss for hours about our perception phantasies... could be interesting...
