that`s a very hard question....
I think that Queen Of Winter, Throned is their most epic song thy ever made. Fans of the old CoF know what I`m talking about.
the endurance, lyrics and the vibe of the song says it all.

I totally agree, one hundred percent. Queen Of Winter, Throned is, to me, the best song they ever wrote. After that, I think it's The Twisted Nails Of Faith, Lord Abortion, Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder, Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids, Dusk And Her Embrace and Funeral In Carpathia, but not in that order. I just think those are the best, in the order I thought of them lol

"Queen of Winter, Enthroned", or the original version of "Graveyard by Moonlight" from the 'Orgiastic Pleasures' demo. Don't get me wrong. I like they're new material too, but there's something magickal about the older albums. Something that they kind of lost along the way. But going for nearly 20 years, they still hold the torch for extreme metal.

I agree about the magical feeling in the older albums. there is something. I mean Dusk and V empire are simply amazing piece of work.
the new stuff is ok but does not reaches the level that these older albums do.
But Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder gives hope that they are not done with us.

I love Beneath the Howling Stars. This question is far too hard to decide. I love reading the lyrics from this band. Normally when I buy a new album from them I read through the album, then I listen. Somewhat because of the accent throwing off my hearing, but mostly because of the stories of each song. The duality that could be surmised from Nemesis is increadable. I am looking forward to the new set of stories in the new album.

Their was always something special and magickal about "Queen of Winter, Throned." I think Sarah Jezebel contributed alot more back in those days. Cradle had sound effects in their songs like a crow squawking in the background that made you feel like your were really there. It really didn't have a main chorus that it would go back to, instead it sounded like it was composed in many different sections and professionally woven together.

I like A Gothic Romance, it also has all this emotion and strength in the lyrics and music.
It's pretty deep. I also feel the same way with the last part of Tortured Soul Asylum.

Tpoemf- Of Mist and Midnight Skies-pure fucking CoF brilliance
Vempire- Queen of winter throned-EPIC ...all i have to say
Dusk..- Malice Through the Looking Glass-lyrically amazing and is my personal favorite
Cruelty-Bathory Aria-epic i love elizabeth bathory and CoF so this song is perfect and it sums bathorys murderous life up
From the Cradle- Funeral In Carpathia (Be Quick or Be Dead Version)-remake of a classic and just plainly the best song on it.
Midian- Lord Abortion/Saffrons Curse- dont really have a fav on midian. its all fuckin amazing
Bitter Sweets - Black Goddess Rises 2- its a remake,even though not as amazing, of one of the most amazing songs ever fucking created.
Damnation and a Day- Thank God For the Suffering- the atmosphere it gives while your listening to it is amazing and its the best song from there present day sound
Nymphetamine- Nymphetamine- Because its like one of the few that wasnt completly dry haha
Thornography- Tonight in Flames- Heavy,badass, and the best of thornography.

Nymphetamine. Maybe. The guitars on it are a little simple for my taste or at least compared to songs like Scorched Earth Erotica. Overall though, Nymphetamine brings the best of Cradle to life. The women, the evil, and the black metal. Idk though Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids is one of me favorites.

This is a close call for me between Funeral in Carpathia, which was the first song I had ever heard from them, and Queen of Winter, Throned. If i HAD to choose between the two I would most likely choose Funeral In Carpathia.
