Well i been reading the lyrics of this song and i kind of get what it is about and how the video relates to it and where in the story the song fits.
basically it talks about Gilles men among other things and at some point Dani compares them to wolves that's why you see wolves in the video and why the song begins with the line "Praeclarum Custodem Ovium Lupum " which means:An excellent protector of sheep, the wolf",also the girls and the guy playing in the field represent little kids even though they don't look little at all and the chicks are really hot (random comment).

"Bricqueville, Prelati and De Sille
Creatures of the dark creeping up and down the countryside
Brittle angels out to pasture once again"

De Sille was related somehow to Gilles de Rais,in fact his full name was Gilles de Sille. Prelati was the italian boy who tricked Gilles to believe in Barron and also the man who Gilles fell in love with (yes he was gay) the reason why Gilles didn't kill him in the first place was because he loved him apparently. i couldn't really find much info on Bricqueville other than he was a messenger of Gilles at some point and also he was one the men who found Prelati in Italy and brought him to Gilles so that he could teach him how to invoke Barron.
For any one that's wondering what "Tiffauges" means, it is the village where Gilles lived and Château de Tiffauges is the actual castle where Gilles resided and committed all of his murders which right now is a museum and it is still there .You are welcome to visit it anytime lol.

Half way through the song there is a line that kind of left me wondering why all of the sudden Dani starts talking about a woman other than Joan of arc.

"And though she walks the forest trails
She's far from innocent or frail
She leads them down the path where darkness dwells"

and its that some people believe that there was a woman working for Gilles who would supply him with children. her name was "La Meffraye"
which means in french "the Terror". No one knows really whether this is true or not. A lot of people think it is part of a fairy tale and that she never existed at all, here is a link if you would like to know more about it:http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/serial_killers/predators/rais/co...

One thing that still intrigues me is the title of the song,so please feel free to comment or correct me if I'm wrong, if you have anything else to add to this song or know the why its called Honey and sulfur feel free to comment .
Thank you

THANK YOU, I WAS WONDERING THAT.
I've always interpreted the title as a poetic synonym for "sweet hell". Sulfur is traditionally associated with hell and the devil, and honey is used symbolically for sweetness in many cultures; biblically, the promised land is described as "a land flowing with milk and honey", so one could interpret "honey and sulfur" to mean a land fulfilling a radically different promise.

France has also held honey in particularly high esteem, historically, and many members of the nobility kept an apiary. It's quite possible (and, indeed, likely) that Gilles de Rais had one.
i think honey reffers to the smell of children and sulphur to the small of the rotten bodies
I think it's kind of an S&M thing, pleasure and pain.
Gilles got pleasure from others' pain.
The line "Stank of honey, and worse, sulphur" kind of implies his home was a epicentre of indulgence at the expense of people, children's lives.
I dunno.
No, no, no...

Honey is the 'divine food', sulphur in the Bible is referred as to something evil, hell-related.
Gilles used to be very near to God, when he fought with Joan d'Arc. After her death he became totally satanic.
Honey and sulphur show his two sides, good and evil.
If you melt sulphur it looks very similar to honey. This shows how close these two sides are to each other.

Remember that in 'Tragic Kingdom' he lost all his wealth. Now in 'Honey and Sulphur' a man called Francesco Prelati came to him and promised him to gain the money back by sacrificing children to a demon called 'Barron' ('Sweetest Maleficia' references to him).

Read some wikipedia, it helps :)

well that's it, I'm pretty sure.

Gilles de Rais also tended to shower his victims with attention and luxury - large sumptuous meals, opulent surroundings, elegant clothes - before escorting them to the killing room. He wrote of his delight at that first sudden shock; the fall is all the harder if it comes from a great height. So first the honey, then the sulphur.

There are many interpretations, and I rather like it that way. Too much is certain these days. Revel in the ambiguity.
My friend told me that the first line meant 'You will die' then again, I got the words wrong...
